The North East of England is a large and diverse area, including major cities such as Newcastle, Durham and Sunderland. The region is well connected to the rest of the UK and Europe by road, rail, sea and air, opening up a wide travel-to-work area and giving easy access to jobs.

Within the region there are a range of growing industries, that provide great opportunities to take your next career step. For example, public sector job opportunities in the region have continued to grow, as have customer service and contact centre roles.

Additionally, the green energy sector is beginning grow, creating opportunities for employment in both Tyneside and Teeside, with construction of the world’s biggest offshore wind farm at Dogger Bank.
